Ms. Jaekyung Ha

Engineering Manager at Forbes

Ms. Jaekyung "Jackie" Ha attended Wellesley College where she was an Economics major. After graduation, she pivoted to software engineering through a coding bootcamp and started working at Forbes Media as a junior engineer. Over the last five years, Ms. Ha has worked her way up to her current position as an Engineering Manager managing a team of five engineers. Her team works on many different projects, but their main focus is their reader stats system that provides writers and contributors with the numbers they need to understand article performance. 

Ms. Ayodele "Ayo" Lewis

Research & Development Rotational Program at Pfizer

Ms. Ayodele “Ayo” Lewis is an early career scientist passionate about using quantitative and qualitative methods to understand and mitigate health disparities . She received her BA in Neuroscience from Amherst College in 2021, and currently is an associate in Pfizer’s Research and Development Rotational Program where she has held roles as a clinical trial performance analyst and now works as a health equity specialist. Ms. Lewis is currently applying to medical school and hopes to pursue a career in a primary care speciality. 

Ms. Chloe Marcel

Data Strategist at Maverick Real Estate Partners

Ms. Chloe Marcel, a data professional based in New York City, graduated from Columbia University in 2019 with a major in Industrial Engineering: Operations Research. She started her career interning at Goldman Sachs for two summers and at Celonis for a semester during her time at Columbia. Following graduation, she spent two years at Goldman Sachs in the Fundamental Equity group, focusing on portfolio construction and equity research. She then transitioned to a startup, Spruce, dedicated to modernizing the title and escrow process, where she served as a Business Insights Analyst on the Analytics team. Currently, Ms. Marcel helps lead the Data Strategy team at a boutique real estate private equity fund, Maverick Real Estate Partners. 

Dr. Paulina Pawlica

Researcher at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine

Dr. Pawlica is a molecular virologist with an expertise in RNA biology. Her research group uses a combination of molecular virology, RNA biochemistry and bioinformatics to answer fundamental, mechanistic questions with regards to the involvement of small non-coding RNAs in viral infections. Specifically, the Pawlica lab studies how herpesviruses use ncRNAs to increase oncogenic potential, as well as functions of newly discovered miRNA-like RNA expressed by SARS-CoV-2, ultimately seeking to further understand viral diseases and gain insights into the cellular machineries exploited by viruses during viral infections. Previously, Dr. Pawlica completed her postdoctoral studies at the Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Yvanka Gilliam

CEO and Founder of Clinical Research Advancement

Dr. Yvanka Gilliam has over 23 years of clinical operations, medical affairs, health economics outcomes research, digital health, commercial launch, and market access experiences focusing on emerging markets within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Diagnostic industries. She is the CEO and Founder of Clinical Research Advancement, Inc. based in the US and Clinical Research Advancement Pte. Ltd. based in Singapore. She is also the Head of Clinical Alliances for the Singapore Clinical Research Institute and is on the Advisory board for MyCLNQ Health. Previously, Dr. Gilliam served as the VP of Operations for Diaceutics within the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions, and the VP of Clinical Affairs and Real World Evidence with Kantar Health, among other positions.
