Our mission is twofold:

1. To promote equality in the STEM fields.

2. To introduce girls in STEM to various opportunities and career paths.

We aim to achieve these goals by hosting conferences highlighting the work of women with STEM backgrounds around the world, ultimately creating a platform for young women to connect with inspiring STEM practitioners.

Our three past Women in STEM conferences provided an opportunity for female professionals to share their individual journeys—from high school to college to their current professions—and give advice to our attendees. We hope their narratives will inspire young women to overcome obstacles in their careers and strive toward their own goals.

Chloe is a senior based in NYC who loves everything biology, from prions to epigenetics to photoperiodism. Especially intrigued by pathology and pharmacology, she plans to research incurable diseases and drug design. When not (re)reading her well-worn copy of Campbell's Biology, she obsessively analyzes song lyrics and scours the internet for her next baking challenge.
